You're purchasing permission to print and sell our artwork, not ownership of the artwork itself. There's a difference, and yes, it matters.

Welcome to 138 Design Co., where we love supporting fellow small businesses, creative entrepreneurs, and hardworking printers who turn digital designs into beautiful physical products.

Whether you're printing DTF transfers, screen prints, sublimation transfers, rhinestone transfers, or spangle designs, this commercial license is designed to let you do your thing while keeping our original artwork protected.

Because we believe everyone deserves to make money from their hard work. Including the artist who created the design in the first place. Wild concept, right?

WHAT YOU'RE PURCHASING:

This listing is for a COMMERCIAL PRINTING LICENSE, which grants the original purchaser permission to produce and sell authorized physical transfers and finished products featuring eligible 138 Design Co. artwork.

Approved production methods include:

• DTF Transfers: Print and sell ready-to-press direct-to-film transfers.

• Screen Prints: Produce and sell physical screen-printed transfers or finished products.

• Sublimation: Create and sell physical sublimation transfers and finished sublimated products.

• Rhinestones: Produce and sell physical rhinestone transfers and finished rhinestone products using authorized designs.

• Spangles: Create and sell physical spangle transfers and finished products featuring authorized artwork.

This license covers physical production and sales only. It does NOT grant permission to resell, redistribute, or share the digital design files.

Basically, sell the transfers. Sell the shirts. Make your money. Just don't start selling our digital files like you drew them yourself.

CHOOSE YOUR LICENSE — BECAUSE OPTIONS ARE NICE:

SINGLE-DESIGN COMMERCIAL LICENSE

• Covers commercial printing of ONE specific 138 Design Co. design.

• Valid for the original purchasing business.

• Allows authorized physical transfers and finished products to be sold using that design.

• Does not extend to other designs or future purchases.

ONE-TIME LIFETIME COMMERCIAL LICENSE

• A one-time purchase providing ongoing commercial printing rights under the lifetime license terms.

• Covers eligible 138 Design Co. designs within the scope of the license.

• No recurring license fee.

• Valid for the original purchasing business only.

IMPORTANT: A commercial license does not include the actual artwork files. Designs must be purchased separately unless otherwise stated.

Buying the license doesn't magically download our entire design collection into your account. Nice thought, though.

WHAT YOU CAN DO (THE MONEY-MAKING PART):

With the appropriate commercial printing license, you may:

• Produce and sell physical DTF, screen print, sublimation, rhinestone, and spangle transfers using authorized artwork.

• Sell completed physical products featuring authorized designs, including apparel, bags, tumblers, and other compatible items.

• Sell your physical transfers to other businesses and customers for application to finished products.

• Advertise your physical transfers and finished products using watermarked previews of the artwork.

• Make production-related adjustments necessary for the approved printing method, provided the original design remains recognizable and is not creatively altered.

YES, you can sell physical transfers to other businesses. That's literally why this license exists.

THE FINE PRINT (AKA DON'T BE THAT PRINTER):

We love watching other businesses succeed. What we don't love is seeing our artwork passed around like a free sample at Costco.

Let's establish some boundaries.

• NO DIGITAL FILE RESELLING. You may NOT sell our PNGs, SVGs, rhinestone templates, spangle files, or other digital artwork in any format. Your license covers physical products, not digital downloads.

• NO FILE SHARING. Your license belongs to the original purchasing business. Not your bestie, your business partner's separate company, your Facebook group, or your entire printer network.

• NO DIGITAL TRANSFER SHEETS FOR RESALE. You may sell physical gang sheets or transfers containing authorized artwork, but you may not sell downloadable gang sheet files or digital layouts containing our designs.

• NO ALTERING OR REPURPOSING ARTWORK. Designs may not be creatively altered, redrawn, recreated, or incorporated into new digital designs. Necessary production conversions are permitted, but they don't grant you creative ownership.

• NO CLAIMING OUR ARTWORK AS YOUR OWN. You may advertise the physical products you produce, but you may not claim to be the original artist or designer.

• NO REDISTRIBUTING SOURCE FILES. Customers purchasing your physical transfers do not receive rights to our digital artwork. Please keep the files where they belong.

• NO LICENSE SHARING OR TRANSFERS. Commercial licenses are non-transferable and may not be shared, gifted, or resold to another person or business.

• NO UNAUTHORIZED REPRODUCTION. Purchasing one license does not give you unlimited rights outside its stated scope.

If your business model involves giving away our artwork so everyone else can print it too, this is not the license you're looking for.

WATERMARKS — YES, WE'RE SERIOUS:

When advertising or displaying our designs online, you are required to use a watermark on digital previews to help protect the artwork from unauthorized use.

This includes product previews, transfer listings, promotional graphics, and other digital displays where the artwork could be copied.

Watermarks are not required on the actual physical transfers or finished products.

Because the internet has enough people who think screenshotting a design counts as sourcing inventory.

IMPORTANT LICENSING DETAILS:

• ONE BUSINESS, ONE LICENSE: Each independently operated printing business must purchase its own license.

• PHYSICAL SALES ONLY: This license authorizes physical transfers and finished products, not the resale of digital artwork.

• ARTWORK PURCHASED SEPARATELY: You must legally obtain the designs you intend to print.

• NO OWNERSHIP TRANSFER: All original artwork remains the intellectual property of 138 Design Co.

• NO SUBLICENSING: You may sell physical transfers, but you may not grant another printer permission to reproduce our artwork from digital files.

• LICENSE COMPLIANCE: Use of artwork outside these terms is not authorized and may result in termination of the license in accordance with its terms.

PLEASE NOTE: This license does not override any third-party intellectual property rights or restrictions that may apply to individual designs.

HOW YOU'LL RECEIVE YOUR LICENSE:

This is a DIGITAL LICENSE PURCHASE ONLY.

No physical product or printed certificate will be shipped.

Your order confirmation serves as proof of purchase. Please retain it for your records.

IMPORTANT: Your license applies only to the designs and uses covered by the license option you purchased.

We love organized business owners. Keep your receipts. Future you will thank you.

A FEW FINAL DETAILS:

• DIGITAL PRODUCT ONLY: No physical items or transfers are included with this license purchase.

• NO DESIGN FILES INCLUDED: Artwork must be purchased separately.

• ALL SALES FINAL: Due to the digital nature of this license, refunds, returns, and exchanges are not available, except where required by applicable law.

• OWNERSHIP: All original artwork and associated intellectual property rights remain with 138 Design Co.

• LICENSE ACCEPTANCE: By purchasing and using this license, you agree to comply with the commercial printing terms outlined in this listing.
